Nature Walk on Cumberland Island

The largest predator on Cumberland Island is the alligator. It can be found in freshwater areas as well as salt marshes and even in the ocean. With the vast array of wilderness areas, habitat and nesting areas, visitors will find a plethora of nature on walks. The main mode of transportation on the island is by foot. Some bicycle rentals are available from ferry personnel.
