As with the other Talbot Island parks, photos can be taken of open water, marsh, beach dunes and because Little Talbot is one of the few remaining undeveloped barrier islands, it provides many different natural habitats for photography.
The shoreline also provides ample opportunity to view and photograph shorebirds, and the backside of the island allows ample angles for taking photos of wading birds.
